One of my favorite parts of summer is being able to go to the beach with my friends and lie around in my bikini all day in the sun. Living in Ontario, Canada, our summer days are SO precious to us, we can't afford to not take advantage of those hot days.

Travel Essentials!

I've created a collage of what I consider are wardrobe essentials when it comes to travelling.

 

For those of you who travel often, you know that comfort is top priority when it comes to sitting on a plane for hours at a time. Always bring a sweater with you; even if its summer time, planes tend to get very cold due to the high altitude. A shawl will help with the cold as well and you can cover your eyes with this to help you sleep if you are travelling during the day and need those extra hours of nap time (they can also deter people from talking to you if you’d prefer to be left alone). A bra like the one shown below will definitely bring your comfort to a new level! There will be no underwire to poke at you when you try to position yourself to sleep. Leggings & flats will insure your lower half is happy throughout the flight!

Pink is one of my favorite colors, it comes in so many gorgeous feminine shades. I always feel so classy when adorned by it. Add some classy pink to your wardrobe this spring with these gorgeous accessories!

My Closet Essentials

Here are 7 items I believe are crucial to invest in:

 

 

1.      A black blazer is such an important piece; it can make a dress more casual or it can give a tee a more professional look. (I also have one hanging at my cubicle at all times)

2.      Dark wash jeans! A good pair of quality jeans can last years (if properly cared for) and they never go out of style; they go with practically anything and are very comfortable to wear on those casual Fridays at work.

3.      A white tee, such a basic item, but so important to have, great for those lazy weekend days.

4.      Little black dress, you never know when you’ll be invited to a fancy diner or be swept away for a romantic date night. A girl’s got to be prepared!

5.      Black heels, do I really need to explain this one?!

6.      Neutral flats, either go for an all over nude or go with a snake skin or leopard print to add a bit of fun to this neutral must have.

7.      Neutral or black purses, if your budget is tight, invest in one neutral bag that will go with any outfit!
